Toys R Us: Black Friday Ad Released!

The Toys R Us Black Friday sale starts at 5pm on Thanksgiving Day: three full hours before any other big-box retailer! And in some kind of twisted irony, Toys R Us' "Black Friday" early bird items won't even be available on Black Friday, as door-buster pricing is only valid until 9pm on Thursday!

The remainder of the ad is valid through Saturday, November 30.
It is not a big surprise that Toys R Us is the first to plant their Black Friday sale right in the middle of Thanksgiving as Toys R Us helped pioneer the Thursday starts. In 2010, Walmart and Best Buy both started their Black Friday sales at 5am. By comparison, Toys R Us started theirs at 9pm on Thanksgiving Day.

PetSmart: Black Friday Starts Nov 25th

PetSmart Black Friday EventPetSmart is kicking off an entire week of Black Friday sales beginning with a 3-day pre-sale starting Monday, Nov 25, featuring both in-store and online deals.

PetSmart.com will then put their entire Black Friday sale online at 6am on Thanksgiving morning and will offer free shipping on all orders with no minimum purchase!

And for those who missed anything in the online sale, the actual in-store sale will begin 7am on Black Friday where the first 100 customers in every store will receive a free stocking stuffed with $130 worth of in-store coupons and pet treats!

Menards: Black Friday Ad Released!

Sticking with a more traditional start time, Menards is opening their doors at 6am on Black Friday this year. In fact, there's even a note on the first page explaining the late start where Menards stresses that as a "family-owned company," they believe "Thanksgiving is a time for togetherness," and thus, they will stay closed on Thanksgiving day.
