Homemade Freezer Apple Pie Filling

Today I made a batch of Apple pie filling which makes enough for four different desserts. I hope to do more tomorrow so that I am well stocked for these fall and winter months. I like to keep bags of it in the freezer to pop into a pie crust when I need it. Make this now and have it ready for those more hectic days during the holidays when you need a quick dessert or apple pie.

If you are like me and LOVE fresh apple pie, you will love this recipe for freezer pie filling. I love that I am able to make homemade apple pie, apple enchiladas and apple crisp that tastes like I spent hours peeling and prepping all day to make during the winter months and it freezes really nice too.
